| Ada Windle Original in Mitchell Library titled "Ada or Mary Windle". This is a very hurried photo I took when I asked for viewing of the items donated by Ruth Robertson. |
| Photo of Parramatta Street (now Broadway) taken by James Rooke ca1850 My 3 x great grandfather, James Rooke, took this photo of Broadway in Sydney sometime prior to his death in 1860. The negative was also accompanied by a sketch (dated 1861) and handwriting which describes the buildings in the photo. The items, along with photos of 2 of his granddaughters were donated to the Mitchell Library by another relative, Ruth Robertson.
