    Died:
Still another Bathurstian, Lance Corporal Harry Kelly, son of Mrs. Kelly of William-street, and brother of Mr. W. Kelly, of the Burlington Theatre, has made the supreme sacrifice on the battlefield. Lance-Corporal Kelly, who belonged to the 53rd Battalion, was killed in action in France on the 6th inst. The sad news reached his relatives on Saturday morning last. They have the deepest sympathy of the whole community in their hour of sorrow, but also the consolation that Lance-Corporal Kelly died a hero's death fighting for Australia and the Empire. The dead soldier was 28 years of age a native of Bathurst, and unmarried. He received his education at the Patrician Bros. School, and was employed by Messrs. Preen and Co. before joining the ironmongery department of Messrs. Anthony Hordern in Sydney. He had been two years and nine months on active service in France.
