  From Dan Byrnes: Alfred married Rooke Caroline Mary Ann-53044 daughter of Cabinetmaker Rooke James-338326 and wife1 RNotknown Elizabeth-338327 in 1835 in St Phillips,Sydney. Caroline was born on 29 Nov 1817 in London. She was christened in 1818 in St Luke's, OLd St, Finsbury. She died in 1884 in Sydney. She was buried in Sydney. She is dr1. Larkin notes that there may be two different women as Mary Anne seems to have changed her name to Caroline by 1840 and in 1841 listed her names as Mary AC and thereafter is listed only as Caroline, and death-listed as Caroline. Are there two different women? Larkin has her born circa 1802 in England. The ship "Guildford" arrived 1821, so she was presumably born in England. Noted as married in 1835, CofE, St Phillips, Sydney in Larkin's tree.
